Cwilt Cymru members met up at Llangollen this week to see our exhibition at the Museum. A big thank you to Quiltfest for inviting us to show our quilts. Visitors have included quilters who visit Quiltfest each year, and many families visiting the museum who were delighted to find the exhibition in the upstairs gallery.
The fact that most of us were wearing clothes which toned with our quilts is a total coincidence, but probably says something about our colour preferences!
Dorothy Russell will be taking part in Anglesey Arts Weeks – Open Studios from 24th March -7th April 2013. Visitors are welcome to her studio near Porthaethwy (Menai Bridge). Good luck Dorothy – let’s hope you gets lots of visitors! Dorothy will also have an exhibition of her work at Canolfan Ucheldre (Arts Centre), Holyhead, Anglesey in June.

Judy, Judith and Millie plan to have work in the Quilters’ Guild Region 12 exhibition of members’ work, “Say it with Flowers”, at the Cynon Valley Museum, Aberdare from 2 March – 13 April.
BBC Wales has a feature on Quiltfest on their website – thank you to Alys Lewis in the BBC studios in Wrexham for posting it.
